X-train is the tuition arm of West Wittering Windsurfing Club set up by Simon Bassett who owns 2XS and the Windsurf Club.

We firmly believe that newly developed equipment and tuition techniques combined with the safe tidal lagoons at West Wittering make it the perfect place to have tuition. Our expert staff will be on hand to help you get the most out of your course or coaching. Our mission is to make sure you learn fast and succeed in a safe and fun environment. We feel strongly if you want to succeed in your sport you need tuition at all levels to progress.

At our site on West Wittering beach we have the latest high tech windsurfing, powerkite and kitesurfing equipment plus changing rooms, showers and jet ski rescue. The privately owned beach has been voted best beach in Britain numerous times over the last 5 years, it also has the Blue Flag “clean beach and water status”. Wittering is still very rural and unspoilt and is positioned on the edge of Chichester harbour.

Surfing Tuition
Surfing is the original and least expensive extreme watersport. Learn to surf in the gentle waves of West Wittering where you will learn on soft style performance surf boards and be taught by one of our experienced instructors.

We also teach body boarding, which is similar to the excitement of surfing, but you're right in the pit of the wave. It's super easy to pick up and is great for kids!
