DFS confirms continued support of the Hickstead Derby
Furniture giant DFS has confirmed its continuing sponsorship of Hickstead’s world famous British Jumping Derby competition for this year, Hickstead’s Golden Jubilee.

HIGH BEECHES NOMINATED AS BEST RHODODENDRON GARDEN IN 2010
High Beeches Gardens has been recommended as the best garden in the UK in which to see Rhododendrons growing in the Royal Horticultural Society’s Rhododendron, Camellias and Magnolias Group 2010 Handbook. The RHS group comprises the most knowledgeable experts and authorities on the subject in the country.

The Weald & Downland Open Air Museum at Singleton, near Chichester, is always a popular venue during school holidays, and this year there are four special days of events and activities planned for the Easter break. The activity days are a focal point for families to enjoy the Museum, with arts, crafts, games, and entertainment designed to appeal to all ages. There will be demonstrations of traditional Tudor Easter preparations and cooking in Winkhurst Tudor kitchen, and in other buildings there will be similar demonstrations from Stuart and Victorian times.

Milford on Sea Food Week starts Easter Monday!
The Milford on Sea Food Week starts on Easter Bank Holiday Monday with music, food & stalls on the seafront. This will be followed by over 100 individual events taking place throughout the week, with the final event being a Food Market held in the High Street & on the village green.
