Kent Downs receives EU boost for Cross Border Biodiversity.
The Kent Downs AONB has been awarded more than €2,000,000 by the European Commission through the INTERREG IVA Programme. The grant is part of a €4,000,000 project to enhance landscape and biodiversity in two protected landscapes on both sides of the English Channel – the Kent Downs AONB and the Parc Naturel Régional des Caps et Marais d’Opale. The project involves 19 conservation based organisations in Kent and Northern France.
