British Kite Surfing Association

Kitesurfing is one of the worlds fastest growing extreme sports and the UK is at the forefront with many of the top world riders coming from our shores.

Getting Started
Talk to any Kite Surfer any they will all recommend that you get professional lessons before you take to UK Seas. Not only will this enhance your safety and others too, but it will give you chance to try Kite Surfing without spending lots of money on kit you may not use.
It’s important to get some professional tuition from a qualified instructor. Kitesurfing can be a dangerous sport if you are unsure about what you are doing, so by investing in a lesson you will learn the fast and safe way how to kitesurf and not have to deal with the consequences of trial and error when learning without professional instruction!!
• BKSA qualified Instructors are the only people to learn from
• Choose a BKSA approved School
• Most people will be up and going after a 3 day course
Get personal
Private tuition will see you improve leaps and bounds. Get a one to one lesson - more expensive but a faster way to learn
Join a club
After the inital stages join one of the BKSA clubs you can do this when you join online
There are many kitesurfing clubs around the UK that kitesurfers at any standard can join to improve their kitesurfing in the company of others. It’s a safer for you and often more fun.
