Description:
CHILTERNS TREASURE HUNT - CLUES READY-SET, FOR PDF DOWNLOAD
Would you like something different to do this weekend, in beautiful locations?
Our Treasure Hunt starts in Watlington, which is located off the B4009, near to Junction 6 of the M40.
Finish is at Hambleden Village – just off the A4155 between Marlow and Henley.
This hunt is a TV location-spotter’s dream come true, probably due to its proximity to the major British film studios. From the windmill at Turville (remember ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’?) to Dibley village, via the Hammer Horror films at Hambleden – these gorgeous villages may look very familiar. Ancient church enthusiasts will delight in those at Fingest, Frieth, Turville and Hambleden, and real ale fans will also have the time of their lives at some of the best beer pubs going.
Two sets of clues for the route are included (easy / cryptic), so all ages can play. The hunt takes around two hours to complete at a medium pace.
