There are approximately 35 km of beautiful woodland public bridleways where you can ride for nothing. There are toll rides in Clowes Wood and Thornden Wood where a permit is required to ride in the woods, day permits and details can be obtained from TROT.
In Ellenden Wood, just off the A290 between Blean and Whitstable, is a wide network of public bridleways.
