With both rivers and reservoirs, the Eden Valley offers some excellent opportunities for freshwater fishing.
Bough Beech Reservoir, set within picturesque tree lined countryside, provides excellent coarse, carp and pike fishing generating countrywide interest.
Gabriel's Fishery is an excellent complex of five lakes and a mile and a quarter of waterfront along the bank of the River Eden. Bough Beech Reservoir is a 250 acre reservoir nestling in the hillside between Edenbridge and Sevenoaks, and is a great venue for sailing. The wind is unobstructed from the south of the reservoir and the elevated position provides good winds from the prevailing south west.
Sailing and windsurfing are possible year round, and some boat hire is also available.
