Ringwood
Ringwood stands on the western edge of The New Forest at a crossing point of the River Avon. For centuries it has been the traditional market town of the New Forest with its weekly Wednesday market charter dating back to 1226. The historic town is centred around the Parish Church with its Saxon beginnings. Many listed buildings like Monmouth House and The Meeting House (dated 1727) all help to retain the old market town character.
