Description:
Norbury Park is a working landscape, with farms and a commercial sawmill. The park lies within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and consists of 520 hectares (1,300 acres).
The variety of habitats at Norbury encourage a vast amount of wildlife. There are roe deer, badgers and foxes in the woodland, together with all three British woodpeckers (green, great spotted and the much smaller lesser spotted).
Norbury Blue Cheese is produced on Norbury Park Farm and is entirely hand made from the milk of the family closed herd of 90 fresian cows. All the fodder except soya is grown on the farm and is GM free, thus giving Norbury Blue its unique flavour and appearance. Norbury Blue is one of only two unpasteurised vegetarian blue cheeses in England. It is available throughout Surrey, Sussex and London. Local outlets are Surrey Produce in Dorking, Scoulers in Bookham and F. Connisbe & Son in Horsley. Please call Michaela for further information on 01372 377842.
Bocketts Farm is a working family farm, providing a wonderful day out for visitors
